Thomas Scott Zolotor is taking the gothic and horror community by virtual storm. His gritty and seemingly unpolished looks are part of his artistic charm. Boasting a spot in feature films, Zolotor brings us a collection of works in a variety of mediums. While he favors pastels, Zolotor gives us a very adept look at his work in acrylics with a landscape that blends colors with a unique eye and style.

In his piece The Girl In Black and White, Zolotor gives the piece an almost antiqued and aged look. The work, created in pastels, shows the ordinary girl in a pose that seems to cross thoughtfulness with flirtation. Perhaps the sketch of a former infatuation one will never know as she seems a generic figment of imagination past.

Felicia, created in pastels as well, has been shown at horror conventions and has caught the eye of celebrities like Robert Englund. This piece, in particular, is being featured in an upcoming horror  film called Succubus. More information can be found at Zolotor’s myspace page at

The Land Of The Pond is Zolotor’s branch out project. Created in acrylics, it brings an impressionistic feel to his ever-expanding artistic toolbox. His use of color, shadowing, and foliage depiction has a blended and elemental style that brings this artist to the publication table.
