First time visitors, we welcome you to the pages of Indie Searchlight! We hope that you find something new and inspiring for your own creative pursuits.  In turn we hope that you will share your creative pursuits with us by checking out our submission guidelines and sending some of your own work our way.

There are some minor changes this month to our little publication.

First up: Check out the additions to our Staff Page.   In the last two months we've added a new face or two and are excited to welcome them aboard.

Second: Contests Have Arrived!
Our first contest run is here. Complete with prize packages, we hope that our artist friends will get involved and send in entries.
Create the graphic header for Indie Searchlight, if your entry is selected as the first place winner your art will appear on the Indie Searchlight Pages for all to see. You'll also receive a prize package including a gift certificate to a major online store and a year subscription to the zine.

Third: A few minor changes have been made to the submission guidelines page. If you're thinking about submitting your work, we have open slots for the rest of the year. So see our guidelines, follow them closely, and hopefully we'll be seeing your work here soon.

Last but not least, we're excited about bringing you these artists. Our mission is to give emerging artists a break. While it may not be the "Big Break" that they are looking for, our artists all receive publishing credit through our webzine.

Unlike some publications we do not charge a fee to post the art of our artist's in our publication. Contributors are unpaid and our staff is made up of volunteers. This is something that we would like to change at Indie Searchlight, but we need your help to do it.

Our Services page has information on how you can do that. There are two ways you can help. You can purchase a subscription or simply make a donation all via the safety of Pay Pal. We are also working on getting advertising spots going throughout the site and will be creating a store full of Indie Searchlight Merchandise, including t-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, hats and other quality items.

All proceeds will go to the zine's success and insure that we are able to keep bringing you quality art and supporting artists from around the world.

Most of all enjoy the reading and the eye candy found on the site. We're positive that you'll find the new talent fresh and inspiring.
